For over 25 years, Bob’s Steak & Chop House locations have sourced meat from the Chicago-based Stock Yards Meat Packing Company. We proudly serve guests hand-selected cuts from the top two percent of USDA prime beef. Most cuts are butchered in-house, and due to our beef cuts' high quality and marbling, we only season them with kosher salt and black pepper.

In his free time, Frank spends a lot of time outdoors enjoying surfing, cycling, golfing, gardening, and snorkeling. Frank started in hospitality as a server working his way through College. After graduating from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, he moved to San Diego and continued his journey in hospitality at Remington's in Del Mar, a steak restaurant catering to the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Frank has spent his time in many restaurants, from the University Club atop Symphony Towers, most recently (a Club Corp Property) to owning his own restaurant (Cafe Pacifica Restaurant in Old Town San Diego). He is very excited to join the Bob’s Steak & Chop House Family and return to his fine dining roots. Time after time, you can taste the difference on the Bob’s Steak & Chop House menu. While the atmosphere was as lovely as the service, and we didn't have to wait long for our meal — all important factors in a good "power lunch" — the food just didn't live up to the hype. A classic Italian restaurant off West Hollywood's famous Melrose Avenue, Cecconi's frequently appears on lists for the "top power lunch spots" and has been known to attract everyone from Beyoncé to Prince Harry. From the famous carrot cake to the classic bread pudding, our desserts are made in-house using only the freshest, sweetest ingredients. I grew up next to a wood-oven pizza restaurant that my family would visit weekly, and Cecconi's wood-fired spicy salami pie captured my nostalgia. Each floppy slice had a satisfyingly smoky and charred bottom, adding some great texture. The spicy salami and perfectly cooked mushrooms were a match made in heaven, and the tomato sauce was delicious. Cecconi's cavatelli lamb ragù is $14 cheaper, but it's still a very pricey dish, and the flavors just didn't warrant the expense, in my experience. The cavatelli was chewy, overcooked, and only coated with a light layer of the ragù.
We now live in a hybrid world, but the "power lunch" is due for a comeback. Frank grew up in Pensacola, Florida and his immediate family still resides there. He lives in San Diego with his wife, Sydney, their son, Anders, and their family dog, Bella.
